Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchaser to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with contractual and legal standards. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and negotiation strategies to support our organization’s operational needs and business development initiatives.

Duties

Contract Administrator
Set up and maintain all project files from initial setup meetings through final retainage payment.
Track and manage all change orders, contracts, and project billings.
Prepare and complete project-specific invoices using AIA or other required formats.
Enter invoices accurately into accounting software.
Ensure all project documentation and paperwork requirements are properly fulfilled and up to date.
Purchasing Agent
Manage/Issue purchase orders.
Oversee shipping, delivery, and equipment schedules.
Maintain purchase records.
Matching up packing slips with invoices and resolving any issues.
Assist with yearly inventory.
Maintaining inventory levels for highly used products and supplies.
Handle freight claims, backorders, pricing issues, and other order-related problems.
Communicate with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resolve shipping errors.

Qualifications

Driver's License
Negative Drug Screen
Clean Background Check
College Degree or 5 Years Experience
Detail Oriented and Organized
Negotiation Skills
Excel, Word, and Adobe Experience Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
