Procurement Analytics Coordinator

About the role

Join our team as a Procurement Analytics Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in advancing our REAL Foods mission by using data and analytics to drive smarter, more efficient, and cost-effective sourcing decisions.

What you will do

Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions for foodservice contracts.
Maintain accurate records of food and supply purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
Evaluate and compare vendor quotations to ensure the best quality and pricing for food products and services.
Communicate with suppliers to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues with food orders.
Monitor stock levels of food supplies and identify purchasing needs.
Update and maintain procurement databases and vendor information.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company in terms of food service requirements.
Support the procurement team in negotiating contracts and terms with foodservice suppliers.
Assist with comparison cost analysis and complementary products.
Leverage Excel, procurement software, and enterprise systems with ease to analyze complex data sets, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
Utilize Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) as a primary tool for managing and interpreting data, with opportunities to gain exposure to business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.
Performs additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and business objectives.

Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to leverage Excel for large-scale data analysis, trend identification, and decision support.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Basic understanding of foodservice supply chain procedures.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Work Environment

The position is full-time and based in our office. Occasional travel to meet with foodservice suppliers may be required. We offer a collaborative and supportive environment where professional growth is encouraged.

Essential Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8 hours per day).
Regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and copiers.
Occasional lifting of files or office materials up to 15 pounds.
Work is performed in a professional office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
May require occasional extended hours during month-end or year-end close or audit periods.
Minimal travel may be required for meetings, training, or company events.

Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually, DOE
