Supply Chain Manager

Description
Our client is seeking a Beverage Supply Chain Manager to develop and manage a robust supply network for the beverage segment. This role involves overseeing multiple supply partners nationwide to ensure a stable and strategic network for current and future customers. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities to reduce costs, ensure supply continuity, and meet quality and service expectations. Collaboration with Supply Chain and Business Development departments is essential to build and manage effective supplier networks.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.
Rate: $100,000k-$120,000k
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional partnerships with suppliers.
- Establish formal Service Level Agreements with the supply network.
- Assist in developing procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve service.
- Negotiate and execute agreements with suppliers.
- Optimize the network through spend reduction and value enhancement.
- Conduct market and risk analysis to inform industry strategies.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on beverage gas suppliers.
- Manage the supplier qualification process and build positive stakeholder relationships.
- Identify and support network optimization opportunities through data analysis.
- Attend off-site supplier tours/audits as needed.
- Provide after-hours support approximately one week per quarter.
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of procurement experience in Sourcing and/or Category Management
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Experience in the Industrial Gas or Food and Beverage Industry is a bonus
- Proven track record of delivering insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Drive for continuous learning and improvement in the Supply Chain landscape
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead in times of change with a strategic mindset
- Experience in leading a category in a national procurement network
- Ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and implement sustainability targets with suppliers
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, Business Management, or a related field
