Job Description: Join Saab and become a key player in the dynamic team that manufactures the rear section of the T-7A Redhawk military trainer aircraft for the United States Air Force. As we continue to grow, we are on the lookout for a Senior Strategic Procurement Manager to help us build a world-class Supply Chain. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Leading sourcing and procurement efforts for materials, services, and production supplies.
Establishing and validating new vendor sources while negotiating and managing supplier agreements.
Driving improvements in supply chain processes through Industry 4.0 technologies and lean strategies.
Ensuring optimal total landed costs to support efficient production operations.
Managing supplier risk and developing effective mitigation plans.
Acting as a champion for Saab in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
Maintaining strong relationships with strategic sourcing managers across the global organization.
Contributing to a culture centered on collaboration and trust, in line with Saab’s core values: Trust, Drive, Expertise, and Support.
Assisting with additional projects as assigned.

Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $99,100-$128,800, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should possess:

A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant sourcing experience, or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in vendor sourcing and contract negotiations.
A strong understanding of U.S. government contracts (FAR/DFAR regulations) is highly beneficial.
Previous leadership experience in a purchasing or supply chain function within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing-based sourcing competencies.
Aerospace industry experience is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills for building trust across all organizational levels.
Strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
A self-driven attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality results on a global scale.
