SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

About the position
Responsibilities
- Resolve discrepancies through extensive research and corrective action.
- Keep current with all fiscal, maintenance, and supply automated information systems (AIS).
- Provide data and assistance in budget formulation and execution.
- Facilitate the development, submission, and execution of authorized purchase requests.
- Receive, receipt, and process submitted invoices.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- New employees to the Department of the Navy must pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
- Current federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements.
- Retired military members must comply with provisions regarding civilian positions within 180 days of retirement.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance.
