Integrated Supply Chain Strategy Intern

The Toro Company seeks an Integrated Supply Chain Strategy Intern to assist with program planning, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration during the 2026 Summer Internship Program.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing
- Assist an Integrated Supply Chain Program Manager with program planning, execution, and reporting.
- Support capacity management projects through data analysis, scenario modeling, and performance tracking.
- Extract and analyze ERP or business system data using tools such as SAP, Excel, and Power BI.
- Use material or transactional data such as bills of materials, labor/machine hours by product, and annual usage to describe the operating capacity of an existing or proposed supply chain.
- Collaborate with a wide range of business functions including Sourcing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure all stakeholder perspectives are represented in analysis.
- Use financial analysis and partner with subject matter experts to evaluate existing and proposed supply chains by determining investment and operating costs, and testing recommendations.
- Summarize and present complex data to leadership in an understandable format.
- Deliver a final project presentation highlighting findings, recommendations, and personal learning outcomes.
About You
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
- Junior or Senior status at time of internship.
- Adaptable and flexible – able to handle ambiguity and manage changing priorities.
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability – takes ownership and demonstrates initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ERP experience is a plus.
- Availability to start May 18, 2026, and participate through August 7, 2026.
- Primarily office-based role with possible visits to manufacturing sites or supplier locations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay anticipated between $22.00 and $33.00 per hour.
- Casual corporate dress environment.
- 8 hours of paid volunteer time during the internship.
- Flexible summer hours at certain locations, including early weekend start and Friday noon release.
