Director of Supply Chain Location: Charlotte, NC Compensation: $180,000-$200,000 base salary (bonus and benefits eligible)SummaryWe are seeking a highly driven and self‑motivated Director of Supply Chain to lead and continuously improve end‑to‑end supply chain operations within a regulated aviation manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for developing and executing global supply chain strategies that ensure continuity of supply, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and scalable growth. The ideal candidate brings strong global experience, thrives in complex manufacturing environments, and is energized by leading transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead the end‑to‑end supply chain function, including planning, procurement, supplier management, logistics, inventory, and warehouse operationsDevelop and execute global supply chain strategies aligned to business growth, cost, quality, and delivery objectivesEnsure full compliance with aviation and other regulated manufacturing requirements, including quality systems, traceability, and audit readinessLead global supplier strategy, including sourcing, contract negotiation, risk management, and supplier performance managementPartner cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to support operational excellenceDrive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes, leveraging data, KPIs, and best practicesBuild, mentor, and lead high‑performing global supply chain teamsIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, capacity, and regulatory risksSupport new product introductions, capacity expansion, and global footprint optimizationQualificationsBachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within regulated manufacturing, preferably aviation, aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated industriesDemonstrated global supply chain experience, including working with international suppliers and manufacturing operationsStrong understanding of regulatory and quality requirements in aviation manufacturingProven ability to lead transformation, drive change, and deliver measurable business resultsHighly driven, self‑motivated leader with a hands‑on mindset and strong sense of ownershipExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the executive levelData‑driven decision maker with strong analytical and financial acumen
