IT Procurement Specialist

A company is looking for an IT Procurement and Contracting Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Solicits, awards, and manages various IT contracts, including software licensing and cloud services

Collaborates with staff to develop procurement standards and provides guidance on contract processes

Prepares and issues Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and analyzes price proposals for procurement decisions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 24 semester hours in relevant fields such as business or finance

Three to five years of IT public purchasing experience

FAC-C Professional certification or equivalent required within 24 months of hire

Knowledge of technology compliance requirements and effective government purchasing principles

Ability to negotiate contract terms addressing business needs and compliance requirements
