Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute multi-year strategies to optimize Total Cost of Ownership for proteins

Manage supplier relationships and lead strategic supplier network planning

Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks related to protein sourcing

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

7+ years of experience in procurement or category management with a focus on strategic sourcing

Deep experience in the human food meat / poultry / seafood supply chain

Proven track record in managing volatility in protein markets

Understanding of international freight, customs clearance, and USDA / FDA regulations

History of delivering cost savings and driving cross-functional collaboration
