Job Description: Join Saab and become a key player in the dynamic team that manufactures the rear section of the T-7A Redhawk military trainer aircraft for the United States Air Force. This state-of-the-art facility utilizes cutting-edge manufacturing techniques and fosters research and development to enhance Saab's extensive product offerings.

As we continue to grow, we are on the lookout for a Senior Strategic Procurement Manager to help us build a world-class Supply Chain. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading sourcing and procurement efforts for materials, services, and production supplies.
  • Establishing and validating new vendor sources while negotiating and managing supplier agreements.
  • Driving improvements in supply chain processes through Industry 4.0 technologies and lean strategies.
  • Ensuring optimal total landed costs to support efficient production operations.
  • Managing supplier risk and developing effective mitigation plans.
  • Acting as a champion for Saab in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with strategic sourcing managers across the global organization.
  • Contributing to a culture centered on collaboration and trust, in line with Saab’s core values: Trust, Drive, Expertise, and Support.
  • Assisting with additional projects as assigned.

Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $99,100-$128,800, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant sourcing experience, or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in vendor sourcing and contract negotiations.
  • A strong understanding of U.S. government contracts (FAR/DFAR regulations) is highly beneficial.
  • Previous leadership experience in a purchasing or supply chain function within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing-based sourcing competencies.
  • Aerospace industry experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building trust across all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • A self-driven attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality results on a global scale.
