Required Education and Experience:o Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.o 5-8 years of experience in IT procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.Preferred Certification and Education:o Master's degree.o Procurement certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM).Qualifications & Skillso Strong knowledge of procurement laws and regulations (specifically GDPR).o Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.o Experience with procurement software (e.g., Ariba, Coupa).o Experience with ITIL framework.o Knowledge of cloud-based procurement platforms.The role is for an experienced IT Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of IT solutions and services. The key focus is on developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA. This is a comprehensive requisition for a strategic, hands-on IT procurement role within a healthcare company, requiring a blend of strong technical procurement knowledge and soft skills for stakeholder management.Key Responsibilities• Strategy & Planning: Develop procurement strategies aligned with the IT roadmap and business objectives.• Vendor Management: Build vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.• Contract Management: Negotiate and manage IT contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
