We are looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain operations, ensuring seamless logistics, and improving inventory management processes. This position is ideal for someone passionate about creating efficient workflows and driving results in a dynamic environment. Experience with SAP and international shipping a must.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective transportation solutions.
  • Manage inventory analysis to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize excess or shortages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Utilize PeopleSoft tools to streamline procurement and supply chain workflows.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting efforts to build a skilled and reliable supply chain team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies across all supply chain activities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve supply chain management and logistics operations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on supply chain metrics and project outcomes.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or inventory analysis.
  • Proficiency with PeopleSoft tools to manage and optimize supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting processes within a supply chain context.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to supply chain and logistics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
