Global supplier seeks a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with international vendors. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Agent to support our procurement operations. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within a dynamic environment, with significant exposure to international vendor communication—primarily across Canadian & European markets. The Purchasing Agent will play a key role in ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the purchasing of materials, supplies, and services in alignment with company needs Communicate regularly with international vendors (primarily Europe) regarding orders, pricing, and delivery timelines Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information Assist in resolving discrepancies related to invoices, shipments, and product quality Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and requirements Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and efficiencies
