Senior Procurement Specialist

The ideal candidate will have hands-on purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment, specifically sourcing raw materials or specialty ingredients. This role requires the ability to operate independently, manage vendor relationships, and support day-to-day procurement activities with minimal ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing of raw materials and key ingredients
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Evaluate vendor proposals and make purchasing recommendations
• Monitor market trends, tariffs, and supply risks
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure continuity of supply
• Maintain accurate purchasing data within SAP/ERP systems
• Support process improvements within procurement

Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of hands-on purchasing experience
• Experience sourcing raw materials or specialty ingredients in a manufacturing environment
• Background in fragrance, flavor, or related specialty chemical industries preferred
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• SAP experience required
• Ability to operate independently with minimal ramp-up
