If you are a Supply Chain professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN location, as a Supply Chain Project Coordinator - NPD, you will serve as the supply chain single point of contact on new product development programs. You will support new product teams from initial design concept through the development cycles and product introduction. You will collaborate with all functions of the supply chain to help source, qualify and launch new product materials.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Project Management: Support completion of supply chain deliverables within the NPD phase‑gate process and maintain required evidence for gate reviews.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Assist communication between project teams and supply chain functions by sharing requirements, updates, and priorities.
  • Review and Documentation: Prepare and present supply chain content for project reviews, documenting evidence for gate approvals.
  • Resource Coordination: Delegate deliverable tasks as needed and request supply chain support to align teams on scope and timelines.
  • Supplier Engagement: Initiate and manage quoting processes, supplier selection, and organize DFM/DFT discussions among stakeholders.
  • Sourcing and Purchasing: Support sourcing activities, focusing on cost, lead times, and supplier quality. Manage all procurement for prototyping and development phases.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement efforts within supply chain processes.

Above all, you’re organized, proactive, and skilled at connecting project needs with the right supply chain resources.

For This Role, You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two (2) years related experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred
  • APICs CPIM or CSCP certifications

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $74,000-$86,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
