About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Purchasing Manager / Director of Procurement to run our purchasing operation and ensure our organization secures high-quality goods and services at optimal prices. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and experienced in overseas and U.S. vendor manufacturing partner relationships while driving cost-efficient procurement strategies. Acumatica or other hands-on ERP experience is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that support U.S. and overseas manufacturing of our brands of hotel guest amenities
  • Order, track, and receive into ERP inventory system stock and dropship items
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms
  • Manage vendor performance and maintain long-term supplier partnerships
  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand requirements and forecast demand based on customer purchasing trends
  • Implement best practices in procurement processes, policies, and systems
  • Recommend new manufacturing partners and new products
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials/services considering high and low seasons
  • Analyze usage and trends using ERP system (currently transitioning to Acumatica)
  • Prepare procurement reports and product usage forecasts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in a Hospitality Supply Company a plus
  • Proven experience in a senior purchasing/procurement role preferably related to a warehousing, manufacturing and/or distribution company with varied lead times for multiple items from multiple U.S. and overseas sources
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
  • Proficiency in Acumatica or other ERP and procurement software
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple warehouses and hundreds of SKUs

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
