Senior Supply Chain Manager

BiVACOR
Keep the World's Most Advanced Heart Beating — On Time, Every Time. At BiVACOR, we're developing the world's first total artificial heart, and every component matters. We're looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner who thrives on complexity, loves solving hard problems, and knows how to keep supply chains moving in high-stakes, highly regulated environments. If you're a hands-on planner who can see the big picture and sweat the details, this is your role.
What You'll Do You'll own BiVACOR's end-to-end supply planning — from master scheduling to inventory strategy — ensuring uninterrupted material flow across our pre-commercial and commercial manufacturing phases.
Strategic Planning & S&OP
  • Lead S&OP coordination, ensuring cross-functional alignment with the business plan and driving execution
  • Develop and maintain a 12-18 month rolling Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and material availability
  • Build and lead scenario planning, capacity modeling, and long-range supply planning to support growth and commercialization
Manufacturing & Supplier Planning
  • Translate demand forecasts, engineering build plans, and commercial requirements into executable production schedules for both internal manufacturing and external supply partners
  • Manage supplier purchasing via MRP tools — placing, adjusting, and canceling orders to maintain optimal flow
  • Proactively identify and escalate supply risks before they become disruptions
  • Drive schedule stability by aligning Manufacturing, Supply Partners, Quality, and R&D
Inventory Management
  • Develop and maintain inventory strategies for critical components — safety stock, reorder points, and min/max levels
  • Govern planning parameters including lead times, lot sizes, and planning horizons
  • Monitor inventory health (slow-moving, excess, obsolete) and lead cross-functional disposition reviews
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and drive corrective actions
What You Bring- Must-Haves:
  • Strong analytical capability — you can turn complex data into clear decisions and actionable plans
  • Hands-on problem solver — you don't wait for issues to escalate; you find and fix them
  • Proven planning experience with both internal manufacturing and external suppliers in a regulated environment, covering components and finished goods
  • Outstanding communication skills — detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience in a growth or scale-up business in a regulated environment, medical device manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and S&OP/SIOP processes
  • Familiarity with Class III medical device or similarly regulated supply chain environments
What We Offer
  • Base salary between $117,500- $145,500
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • Life insurance & Employee Assistance Program
  • Generous paid time off
Why BiVACOR?
We're a fun, fast-growing in-office team on a mission that couldn't be more meaningful — giving patients with end-stage heart failure a second chance at life.
