Responsibilities
  • Apple is looking for dynamic, highly motivated Demand Planners in AppleCare.
  • Generate weekly short-term and long-term demand plans that meet Apple’s customer satisfaction goals and financial objectives. Evaluate risks. Plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate.
  • Analyze service material consumption on a weekly basis to identify significant trends and adjust to meet an ever-evolving demand landscape. Find opportunities and drive partner groups to appropriate action.
  • Coordinate closely with regional supply planning teams to ensure plans meet customer needs.
  • Present product demand updates and recommended actions to Operations and Finance executive management team on a regular basis.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process, marshal resources, and drive projects to completion.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, analytics, business, engineering or related field.
  • Prior experience in fields that demand complex quantitative analysis such as supply chain, data analytics, finance or consulting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, is desired.
  • Prior experience in product planning, forecasting, production control, inventory management, or production/manufacturing operations is a plus.
