Large package / furniture distribution centers located in Southern California, Northern California, Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey totaling 9.2M square feet plus another 1.2M square feet of standalone final-mile furniture hubs.
Small package eCommerce distribution centers located in Mississippi and Arizona totaling 3.2M square feet, consisting of over 1,000 full-time associates and 1,500 seasonal/temporary associates in Mississippi
Sutter Street Manufacturing upholstery factories located in North Carolina and Mississippi totaling with over 1,400 full-time employees producing approximately $900 million to $1 billion in sales of upholstered furniture
Transportation Department for Ocean, Air, Trucking, and Rail consisting of over 30 transportation professionals located in Memphis, TN
700 associates in our Sourcing offices in 10 countries in Asia and Europe including China, Vietnam, Singapore, India, Italy, and Turkey

The Furniture Frame Builder/pring Up will be responsible for two sequential stages of production: building frames according to specifications, allowing proper drying time, and completing the spring-up process to prepare units for upholstery.

The Furniture Frame Builder/Spring Up position is located in Claremont, NC.

You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

Obtain pre-constructed frame parts from pallet by pushing, pulling and lifting onto workstation.
Assemble the frame parts based on the design specifications and measurements.
Ensure the frames are square, level, and are ground off level to result in a smooth outside edge and that no staples are on outside of frame.
Inspect frame for any defects such as misalignments, warping, cracks, staples and make corrections as needed.
Take next frame in line, after dried for 4 hours and inspect for any rough or poor joints that need sanding by Frame department.
Place frame on lift to start springing up.
Pull correct no sag springs over the spring up clips.
Attach fiber wire to no sags. Burlap or place FLW according to the spring up instructions.
Shoot the front edge rope into place on frame.
Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy in all tasks ensuring that materials and components are in optimal condition.

At least 6 months of experience in a furniture manufacturing environment.
Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
Ability to interpret simple frame assembly instructions commonly placed in frame assembly manual.

We prefer some of these qualities as well...

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Review these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role....

Ability to frequently lift frames weighing approximately 50 - 75 lbs.
Ability to stand for 10-hour periods and bend and twist as required to upholster furnitur
