About The Role
As a Procurement Analytics Intern at Zekelman Industries, you will support the Purchasing team by consolidating and analyzing MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) spend and usage data across the Atlas Tube and Wheatland Tube business units. This role plays a critical part in helping the organization gain visibility into what we are buying, from whom, and where opportunities exist to reduce costs and improve purchasing decisions.
You will work closely with the Vice President of Purchasing and the broader purchasing team, including storeroom buyers and cross-functional partners, to transform raw SAP (Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing) data into meaningful insights. This internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of procurement, accounting, and data analytics, with exposure to enterprise systems and real-world cost management initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site summer internship based at our Wheatland Tube facility located on Council Avenue.
The official Zekelman internship program runs from May 26, 2026, through August 14, 2026.
This role is ideal for someone with a finance, accounting, or data analytics background who is curious about supply chain operations and motivated by using data to drive smarter business decisions.
