Supply Chain Procurement Specialist - Remote

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to join their fully remote team. This position is critical to optimizing our client's purchasing processes and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement cycle, from identifying supplier needs to negotiating contracts and overseeing deliveries. Key responsibilities include conducting market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluating supplier capabilities and performance, and negotiating favorable terms and pricing for raw materials, equipment, and services. You will also develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements. This role requires a thorough understanding of supply chain management principles, procurement best practices, and relevant industry regulations. You will collaborate with internal departments, such as operations, finance, and product development, to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions. Analyzing spending patterns, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives will be central to your success. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage complex procurement projects in a remote setting. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems is highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, coupled with at least 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, is required. Experience in managing international suppliers and understanding global logistics is a plus.
