Our client, a leading global supplier in specialized materials, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join their dynamic remote team. As a remote-first position, you will leverage cutting-edge communication tools and collaborative platforms to connect with stakeholders across various departments and with suppliers worldwide. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans, conducting in-depth market analysis to identify new supplier opportunities, and negotiating contracts that align with business objectives. You will also be responsible for managing supplier relationships, conducting performance reviews, and mitigating supply chain risks. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or delivery timelines. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely project execution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of purchasing best practices, supply chain management principles, and global trade regulations. Experience with e-procurement systems and data analysis tools is essential. Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for key commodities and services. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality and ethical standards. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms. Manage ongoing supplier relationships, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews. Analyze market trends, supply chain risks, and potential disruptions to ensure business continuity. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions. Process purchase requisitions, create and manage purchase orders, and ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities and supplier information. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management. Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Experience with procurement software and ERP systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. This role is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, US , but is a fully remote position.
