Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards. Manage and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the supply chain. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential risks. Develop and manage procurement budgets and forecasts. Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies, procedures, and regulations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Finance) to understand their needs and ensure timely supply of goods and services. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management. Mentor and develop junior members of the procurement team. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts and managing global supplier relationships. Strong understanding of procurement best practices, cost modeling, and risk management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment.
