Senior Procurement Manager

Key responsibilities include
Developing and executing comprehensive procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies. Managing the end-to-end sourcing process, including vendor identification, evaluation, selection, and onboarding. Negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms. Overseeing supplier performance management and conducting regular reviews to ensure quality and reliability. Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, developing contingency plans as needed. Leading and mentoring a team of procurement specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborating with internal stakeholders across various departments (e.g., R&D, operations, finance) to understand their procurement needs. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, ethical standards, and company policies. Analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and innovation. Managing procurement budgets and tracking spend against planned expenditures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management. Proven track record of successfully managing complex sourcing projects and delivering significant cost savings. Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract development and management. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. Strong understanding of global sourcing practices and international trade. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. Experience in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating adaptability and self-discipline.
