Our client, a leading multinational corporation, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Manager to oversee strategic sourcing and supply chain operations in Atlanta, Georgia, US . This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings across various indirect and direct spend categories. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of global supply chains, and a commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Lead sourcing initiatives for key categories, including market analysis, supplier evaluation, and negotiation of contracts. Manage and nurture strategic relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance, quality, and compliance. Drive significant cost savings through effective negotiation, value engineering, and strategic sourcing methodologies. Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Develop and implement robust supplier performance management programs. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to understand their procurement needs and deliver effective solutions. Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations related to procurement. Stay informed about market trends, best practices, and new technologies in procurement and supply chain management. Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering their development and performance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function. Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures. Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for consolidation and optimization. Oversee the negotiation and management of complex service level agreements (SLAs). Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) preferred. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies that deliver significant cost savings and value. Extensive experience in negotiating complex contracts with global suppliers. Strong understanding of various indirect and direct spend categories. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Knowledge of ethical sourcing, sustainability practices, and regulatory compliance in supply chains. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration. Strong understanding of global trade and logistics is a plus. This position is based at our headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, US , and requires the candidate to work on-site.
