What You’ll Do
The VP, Inventory Partnerships - CTV will lead all day-to-day relationships with our Connected TV (CTV) publisher partners, ensuring we deliver high-value, high-performing partnerships across our entire CTV product ecosystem. This leader will oversee account management, commercial execution, operational excellence, and partner growth, ensuring that our publisher partnerships are aligned with product strategy, supply requirements, and go-to-market initiatives.
The VP will serve as the primary external-facing leader for CTV supply partners, working closely with major content owners, platforms, OEMs, and SSPs to drive adoption of our CTV offerings and to unlock new opportunities. Internally, this leader will collaborate tightly with Product, Strategy, Ops, and Revenue teams to ensure our partnerships accelerate the development and performance of the best CTV product in the market.

Base compensation range: $225,000 - $275,000
In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.

THE DAY-TO-DAY
- Own and manage day-to-day relationships with all CTV publisher partners, delivering best-in-class service, strategic alignment, and acting as the primary escalation point across commercial, operational, and product needs.
- Develop and execute structured partnership plans to drive adoption, performance, inventory access, and mutual business growth.
- Continuously assess partner health, performance, and long-term potential, proactively identifying optimization opportunities.
- Partner with Product and Strategy to align publisher integrations, feedback, and priorities with the CTV roadmap.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure smooth onboarding, integrations, QA, and ongoing inventory and supply quality.
- Work closely with Revenue and GTM teams to support marketplace positioning, partner activation, and revenue growth.
- Analyze partner performance, supply dynamics, and product adoption; establish KPIs and dashboards tracking health, revenue contribution, usage, forecast accuracy, and supply quality.
- Translate partner insights and data into actionable product improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Support negotiation, renewal, and management of commercial terms, ensuring agreements, compliance, and delivery commitments align with business and product strategy.
- 10+ years of experience in publisher partnerships, supply management, account management, or BD within CTV, digital video, or ad tech.
- Deep knowledge of CTV ecosystems, including publishers, OEMs, platforms, SSPs, and technical integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, strategic partner relationships and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Strong operational and commercial instincts; skilled at solving problems that span product, data, operations, and legal considerations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience presenting to senior external stakeholders.
- Experience building and leading teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and influence decision-making
