Position Overview

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for developing and executing material plans that align production schedules with inventory and service requirements. This role ensures component availability, optimizes inventory levels, and collaborates cross-functionally to support on-time delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize material plans to support the master production schedule (MPS).
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriate safety stock to prevent production disruptions.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Analyze supply chain risks and lead corrective actions to mitigate shortages or schedule delays.
  • Review demand forecasts and translate them into actionable supply plans.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve planning accuracy and inventory performance.
  • Track supplier performance and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory status, planning KPIs, and material readiness.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning, materials planning, or production planning (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
