Job Description
This role supports supply chain and contract management activities for complex capital projects. The position is responsible for administering contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and coordinating across multiple project functions including procurement, logistics, quality, and project services. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to support effective contract execution, reporting, and performance management throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Ensure contractor and supplier compliance with contractual terms and conditions
- Administer contracts, including managing contract changes, claims, documentation, and closeout activities
- Manage contract interfaces across project functions such as contracting, purchasing, expediting, QA/QC, logistics, materials management, and project controls
- Collaborate with corporate and business unit supply chain organizations to align contracting and procurement strategies
- Work closely with project services teams (e.g., cost control, planning) to monitor contract value against expenditures and validate invoicing rates
- Develop and participate in post-award contract activities, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and contract performance criteria
- Support contract closeout activities to resolve and release contractor claims
- Organize and support the development of templates, tools, and reporting materials to support information management requirements
- Develop presentations and documentation to support supply chain and contract management initiatives
- Manage, track, and distribute project reports, documents, and other critical information
- Provide analytical support and market intelligence reporting related to supply chain activities
- Communicate and support the rollout of supply chain training initiatives and change management efforts across the project team
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain management and/or contract administration
- Basic understanding of commercial strategies and market dynamics
- Foundational knowledge of contracting and procurement processes for engineering, procurement, and construction activities, preferably within upstream capital projects
- Experience working in remote, Arctic, or offshore environments
- Exposure to local and global supply chain markets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrixed project environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information, solve problems, and recommend sound business decisions
- Understanding of contract implications related to health, safety, environment (HSE), and quality requirements
- Ability to engage stakeholders, encourage open dialogue, and influence outcomes to drive performance and achieve business objectives
- Proven capability to build strong, trust-based relationships and collaborate across organizational boundaries
Pay: $37.85/per hour
