This role partners closely with Engineering, Finance, Regulatory, Production, Supplier Development, and Planning leadership to ensure material availability, reliable promise dates, and clean supply chain data that supports confident decision-making in a regulated, fast-moving environment.

- Lead and develop a team of Supply Chain Managers and Buyers responsible for direct procurement supporting Kaleidos reactor builds.
- Establish clear expectations, operating cadence, and accountability across sourcing, PO execution, expediting, and supplier follow-up.
- Drive a culture of urgency, ownership, and data accuracy across the supply chain organization.
- Oversee sourcing strategies and supplier selection in close collaboration with Supplier Development Engineers (SDEs) and Engineering.
- Ensure commercial terms, lead times, quality clauses, and flow-down requirements are correctly reflected in contracts and purchase orders.
- Maintain tight control of the full PO lifecycle—from requisition to delivery, closure, and post-delivery follow-up.
- Own supply chain health metrics including promise date integrity, on-time delivery to need date, PO line health, and supplier responsiveness.
- Ensure meeting notes, supplier commitments, and follow-ups are documented, tracked, and reflected accurately in systems.
- Proactively identify at-risk parts and suppliers, mobilizing resources to protect manufacturing and program schedules.
- Enforce consistent use of established supply chain processes while identifying and implementing improvements to streamline workflows.
- Partner with Supply Chain Operations and Technology teams to implement dashboards, reporting, and data pipelines that improve visibility and decision-making.
- Support integration of supply chain into engineering change processes, ensuring material impact is assessed and dispositioned correctly.
- Serve as a primary escalation point for material, supplier, and delivery issues impacting Kaleidos execution.
- Ensure procurement and supplier activities remain compliant with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Consistently high on-time delivery performance aligned to manufacturing and program needs.
- Clean, reliable supply chain data (promise dates, lead times, supplier status) that executives and operations teams can trust.
- Well-run procurement operations with disciplined PO execution and supplier follow-through.
- Measurable improvements in supplier performance, responsiveness, and issue resolution.
- Scalable procurement and execution processes that support future Kaleidos build rates and configurations.
- A high-performing, accountable supply chain team operating with clarity and confidence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or manufacturing operations, including leadership of teams.
- Strong operational understanding of sourcing, contracting, PO execution, expediting, and supplier performance management.
- Proven ability to run complex procurement operations with tight schedules and high accountability.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program teams.
- High comfort level using ERP/MRP systems, dashboards, and performance metrics to manage execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel to suppliers as needed (up to ~30%).
