Supply Chain Manager

Summary

Seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee warehouse operations based in Grand Prairie, TX, while managing multiple warehouse locations across the United States. This role will be responsible for optimizing logistics operations, resolving inventory stagnation issues, and improving overall supply chain efficiency, including international imports.

The position requires strategic oversight, operational leadership, and close coordination with business travelers and headquarters in Japan. Business-level Japanese is required for effective communication. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days onsite per week.

Essential Duties

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the Grand Prairie warehouse
  • Supervise and coordinate logistics and inventory management across multiple U.S. warehouse locations
  • Manage international import logistics and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Analyze and resolve inventory stagnation and inefficiencies
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce costs
  • Manage and supervise one direct report
  • Oversee facility management and workforce allocation within the warehouse
  • Collaborate and communicate with Japanese headquarters and visiting representatives
  • Provide strategic insight and consulting-level recommendations to improve supply chain performance

Working Hours, Working Style

  • Monday through Friday
  • Hybrid schedule (minimum three days onsite per week required)
  • Flexibility required based on operational needs

Salary / Benefits

Salary: Up to $150,000

Qualifications

Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, warehouse operations, or related fields

Experience managing imports and multi-site warehouse operations

Demonstrated leadership experience (small team management acceptable)

Experience in facility management and workforce allocation preferred

Candidates from other industries with strong supply chain management capabilities are welcome

Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
