Contracts Manager 2

Responsible for personally developing and executing contractual strategies to support a fast-paced Operating Unit Working at Northrop Grumman is more than just a paycheck. Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 6+ years of professional experience Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree Contract administration or contract management experience Leadership experience Experience with MS Office Suite Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access Contract administration or contract management experience in Defense or Aerospace industry People management experience Experience managing cost-type or firm fixed price (FFP) procurement contract types, experience with Other Transactions is a plus Experience with federal government contracting requirements; FAR/DFAR interpretations Proposal development experience Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application Proactive team player Can meet high performance expectations in a dynamic work environment Ability to prioritize competing priorities and deadlines Have excellent communication skills Are comfortable being directly involved in customer negotiations Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
