Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

As an Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Band 1), you will further the success of our programs to help Northrop Grumman leave the boundaries of what's known and solve tomorrow's problems. This position will be working in our Linthicum, MD facility with hybrid capabilities (a minimum of one day a week in office).

The Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Band 1) responsibilities will encompass:

• Approaching competitive and non-competitive sourcing in request for quotations
• Optimizing volume pricing through bid package strategies
• Evaluating supplier proposals and placing compliant purchase orders
• Extracting, monitoring, analyzing, and validating data information from multiple sources
• Developing engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution
• Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry.​

Basic Qualifications for Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Band 1):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/project management, business management, or information systems
• Experience in MS Office suite
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government secret security clearance
• U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• ​Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
• SAP experience
