The Vice President will lead a high-performing team responsible for developing strategic initiatives and managing $1.9B in logistics spend across multiple transportation modes. Oversight encompasses truckload, rail, ocean freight, dedicated fleets, LTL, parcel, fleet leasing, and trade compliance. The VP will drive the creation of annual plans to meet or exceed budget objectives while fostering a culture of leadership, coaching, and accountability. This role will serve as a key enterprise leader, advancing competitive advantage and delivering long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage transportation effectively, prioritizing service, value, and measurable outcomes through cost reduction, avoidance, process optimization, and demand management.
- Provide strategic leadership by developing and executing sourcing strategies informed by freight market trends and economic indicators.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives, oversee project execution, negotiate complex contracts, and build strong cross-functional partnerships to align business objectives.
- Cultivate executive-level relationships with key suppliers to strengthen partnerships and ensure long-term value creation.
- Establish strong stakeholder engagement through consistent communication and collaboration with internal teams and functional leaders.
- Analyze and interpret financial data, including annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance summaries, to guide decision-making.
- Champion continuous improvement, streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Oversee reporting and performance metrics, advancing analytical capabilities and actionable insights.
- Foster a culture of innovation, driving service enhancements and cost-saving solutions across logistics operations.
- Create and communicate a compelling vision and strategy, inspiring teams and translating objectives into measurable results that position logistics as a competitive advantage.
- Develop and mentor talent, provide coaching, feedback, and support to enable team members to achieve professional and organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of logistics experience.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate confidently across all levels, including suppliers, customers, associates, business unit leaders, and corporate executives.
- Expertise in supplier relations, supplier development, pricing and contract negotiations, and performance management.
- Preferred experience across truckload, ocean, and rail transportation modes.
- Proven ability to solve complex issues at both strategic and operational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem\u2011solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
