Role Summary The Order Processing Specialist is the operational backbone of our fulfillment cycle. You will manage customer orders end-to-end — from accurate entry and system coordination through to warehouse handoff and delivery tracking — while working closely with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to keep product moving on time.

This is a detail-oriented, fast-paced role in a high-volume distribution environment. We use SAP and warehouse management systems daily. The right candidate is calm under pressure, catches errors before they become problems, and communicates clearly across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

• Process customer orders accurately and on time using SAP and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Monitor open orders and follow up proactively to ensure timely fulfillment
• Identify and escalate discrepancies or delays before they impact shipments
• Maintain organized records of all orders, tracking notes, and communications

Cross-Team Coordination

• Work with procurement, warehouse, and transportation teams to align order fulfillment and delivery schedules
• Coordinate with 3PL providers and freight partners on shipping and receiving activities
• Communicate order status updates to internal stakeholders clearly and promptly

Inventory & Supply Chain Support

• Monitor stock levels and flag replenishment needs to sourcing and procurement teams
• Support demand planning by tracking order trends and identifying unusual volume patterns
• Assist in freight planning and support shipping and receiving operations as needed

Reporting & Process Improvement

• Generate reports on order trends, shipping performance, and fulfillment metrics
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring order discrepancies or delays
• Recommend and support process improvements to increase accuracy and reduce cycle time

Requirements

Required

• 1+ years of experience in order processing, supply chain, or warehouse distribution
• Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar ERP / order management system
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or transportation management systems (TMS)
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Clear communicator — written and verbal — across warehouse, logistics, and office teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with freight logistics, 3PL providers, or NVOCC carriers
• Data reporting skills (Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar)
• Background in demand planning, procurement, or inventory management
• Forklift certification or materials handling equipment experience

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
