Supply Chain Manager - Data Center Infrastructure Manufacturer

Our client is a fast-growing manufacturer of data center infrastructure and mission-critical environment solutions, part of a larger industrial group. With demand from the data center market surging, they're hiring a Supply Chain Manager at their Salt Lake City headquarters and manufacturing plant to lead the materials team and keep production supplied, on time and on cost.
THE ROLE
A hands-on leadership role running the full flow of materials through the plant, from buying raw materials to shipping finished goods. You'll build and lead the supply chain team and work closely with production, engineering and the wider business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build the team – recruit, onboard, train and coach supply chain staff
- Set inventory strategy for raw materials, WIP and finished goods
- Coordinate production and material scheduling to keep the line moving
- Run procurement, logistics, shipping/receiving and vendor relationships
- Analyze inventory trends and lead cost-saving initiatives
- Keep inventory accurate and audit-ready
- Support new product introductions and engineering changes
- Champion safety and continuous improvement
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree (required) – Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering preferred
- 5+ years of progressive management experience in manufacturing
- 3+ years in supply chain or materials management
- Hands-on experience with procurement, shipping/receiving, commodity selection and vendor pricing
- Strong knowledge of raw materials, finished goods and material handling
- A proven record of on-time delivery and cost control
- Confident with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong leader, communicator and problem-solver
- Valid driver's license; able to pass background and drug screening
THE DETAILS
- Location: Salt Lake City, UT – on site at the company's HQ and manufacturing plant
- Mostly office-based, with regular time on the production floor
- Travel: occasional, under 10%
- Relocation considered for the right candidate
