Information Technology Procurement Manager

Position Overview

Are you a strong operations leader with a passion for building structure, improving processes, and driving efficiency across warehouse and IT inventory environments? Our client—a global Managed Service Provider (MSP)—is seeking an IT Procurement & Inventory Manager to lead operations at their central hardware hub in McKinney, TX. This high‑impact role supports nationwide customers and helps shape the future of their inventory and logistics function. In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting the company’s national customer base, professionalizing and scaling an evolving warehouse operation, managing a major systems transition, consolidating multiple warehouses into a centralized hub, and creating long‑term structure, repeatability, and operational excellence. There is also future potential to expand into managing additional inventory locations across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading daily warehouse and inventory operations (receiving, storage, configuration, shipping)
• Managing procurement workflows and vendor relationships
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and optimizing stock levels
• Overseeing hardware configuration prior to deployment
• Managing shipping logistics to ensure accuracy and on‑time delivery
• Building and enforcing SOPs across warehouse operations
• Partnering with Field Services, Client Services, and other internal teams
• Training and developing warehouse team members
• Utilizing data to forecast needs and drive process improvements
• Ensuring safety, security, and operational standards across the facility

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in inventory management, warehouse operations, or procurement (IT/Tech/MSP experience preferred)
• Process‑driven with strong operational leadership experience
• Hands‑on warehouse/IT inventory background
• Experience maturing or scaling operational environments
• Skilled with inventory management systems (ERP experience a plus)
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and customer‑minded
• Excellent communicator with strong team leadership skills
