Are you passionate about driving standard processes and consistent process execution? We are seeking a principled Procurement Excellence Director, who leads a team of six, including procurement business process leaders and training specialists, to drive continuous improvement and deliver long-term value for our procurement organization. Responsibilities include owning the procure to pay processes, supporting various process improvement initiatives across the organization and ensuring procurement processes are integrated upstream and downstream. The Procurement organization is responsible for approximately $7B in spending with approximately 170 procurement professionals and across multiple ERPs.
Location: This role is based at the GP Center in Downtown Atlanta. You will enjoy a hybrid schedule of remote and office days; the expectation is that you are in the office more often than not.

What You Will Do
- Role of a Supervisor : Foster a culture of contribution motivated employees through role of a supervisor. Apply Principled Based Management with your team by developing a shared vision with each employee, leveraging each employee’s comparative advantage and giving them ownership of key responsivities with expected outcomes and timelines based on organizational priorities.
- Standard Work & Process Discipline: Create and govern procure to pay process flows, including standard operating procedures, playbooks, RACI models, process KPI’s and standard work. Develop and conduct process assessments at GP facilities.
- Integrate with Other Capabilities: Integrate the procure to pay processes into the company’s broader processes (ie, Asset Maintenance Work Process) to ensure continuity and success both upstream and downstream of the procurement processes.
- Training: Oversee the development and delivery of onboarding and sustainable training, set standards and establish KPIs, and maintain and improve the training SharePoint.
- Strategic Initiatives: Serve as process lead on key initiatives (e.g., GP-wide technology upgrades, company acquisitions, key initiatives, and approved enhancements.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the process SME for cross-functional capabilities, including IT, and stay current on procurement process and technology best practices.
- Customer Support: Provide support for our Procurement team process and technology questions (HUB, training SharePoint, etc.).
- Continuous Improvement: Solicit feedback, monitor KPIs, and consistently improve processes and training based on industry best practices, including automation and Artificial Intelligence.
- 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, manufacturing operations or related supply chain function experience
- Supervisory experience in managing and leading a team of employees
- Experience with developing, maintaining or improving business processes in Procurement, Supply Chain and/or Operations
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with our operational teams as well as our leadership teams, with tailored communications for both.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% depending on location and business needs
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience training development and delivery
- Experience with SAP S4
- Experience in multiple ERP environments
