Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Planner to join our team, ensuring the seamless flow of materials from customer order to inventory delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing make-or-buy decisions, managing procurement processes, and monitoring lead times to optimize efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration across multiple departments, and a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for planning materials from the stage of receiving the customer order until the delivery of materials to inventory.
  • Implementation of make/buy decisions based on capabilities, capacity, and costs.
  • Monitoring the implementation of ECO (Engineering Change Order) across all supply entities.
  • Analysis of LLI (Lead-time Impact) and tracking of mitigations to shorten LT (Lead Time) both internally and externally.
  • Planning and analyzing material procurement – running MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and generating purchase requirements.
  • Continuously monitoring material convergence from the procurement request phase until receipt in the warehouse.
  • Working with multiple interfaces – operations, engineering, parallel design bodies, quality, warehouses, purchasing, etc.
  • Monitoring operational, logistical, and project metrics – OTD (On-Time Delivery), inventory cycles.
  • Responsible for meeting delivery commitments.
  • Maintain parameters in the system.
  • Monitoring shipments from suppliers to the company and from the company to customers.
  • Other duties as needed.

Basic Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in production planning or a role in the supply chain.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics and/or Logistics.
  • High proficiency in Office applications.
  • Knowledge of BI (Business Intelligence) tools, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and data analysis.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple tasks and interfaces simultaneously.
  • Good people skills, natural curiosity, strong communication skills, high service orientation, and striving for excellence.
  • High ambition and motivation to meet tasks and achieve goals.
  • Previous experience working with multiple interfaces, including maintaining work routines and risk management – an advantage.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to perform a variety of physical activities, including standing, walking, and working in various positions for extended periods. The ability to lift and handle materials, as well as to climb, balance, kneel, bend, and crouch, is required to access work areas and perform tasks. The role involves using a full range of motion in the upper and lower body.
