We are a fast-growing, vertically integrated real estate ownership and operations platform with 1,000+ units across 13+ states, spanning apartments, motels, mixed-use properties, and value-add renovations. Our team manages acquisitions, construction, maintenance, leasing, and operations fully in-house.

As we continue to scale, we are creating a centralized role to control costs, consolidate purchasing power, streamline vendor payments, and free up executive time.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Finance & Procurement Operations Manager to act as the central financial and purchasing hub across our real estate portfolio and construction operations.

This role will manage property-level cost tracking, vendor payments, materials purchasing, and supplier relationships, while helping us leverage volume to negotiate better pricing and terms.

This is a high-trust, detail-oriented role with real impact on profitability and operational efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial & Cost Tracking

  • Maintain detailed cost breakdowns per property and per project
  • Track CapEx, renovations, maintenance, and operating expenses by asset
  • Reconcile invoices against budgets and approved scopes of work
  • Flag cost overruns, discrepancies, or inefficiencies proactively

Purchasing & Procurement

  • Purchase all construction, renovation, and maintenance supplies
  • Centralize ordering to maximize bulk pricing and vendor leverage
  • Coordinate with builders, maintenance teams, and project managers
  • Standardize materials and vendors where possible

Vendor Management

  • Manage vendor onboarding, W-9s, insurance, and payment details
  • Schedule and process payments via checks, ACH, Venmo, and company credit cards
  • Assist leadership with negotiating pricing, terms, and volume discounts
  • Source and evaluate new vendors when needed

Payments & Financial Operations

  • Pay invoices accurately and on time
  • Manage company credit card usage and expense tracking
  • Work closely with accounting/bookkeeping to ensure clean records
  • Maintain organized documentation for audits and reporting

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong financial literacy and comfort handling money
  • Experience in real estate, construction, procurement, or operations
  • Comfortable managing multiple entities, partnerships, and properties
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and able to handle sensitive financial data
  • Proactive communicator who identifies problems before they escalate
  • US-based and legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Experience

  • Real estate operations or property management
  • Construction purchasing or materials sourcing
  • Accounts payable or finance operations
  • Vendor negotiation and relationship management
  • QuickBooks, AppFolio, Buildium, or similar systems (not required)

Compensation

  • Salary range: $65,000 – $90,000+ depending on experience
  • Opportunity to split compensation across multiple entities/partnerships
  • Long-term growth potential as the portfolio scales
