Position Summary
As a key member of the Enterprise Procurement Center of Excellence, the Manager is responsible for developing analytical solutions, owning critical recurring processes, and serving as a systems and data subject‑matter expert. This role designs and maintains self‑service tools, enhances visibility into enterprise procurement performance, and supports strategic sourcing through high‑quality analytics. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail‑oriented professional who brings strong technical expertise and is capable of enthusiastically imprinting their level of knowledge and expertise across the team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analytics & Insight Delivery
- Support the development and delivery of analytics and insights on $12B+ in addressable spend across 10+ sources.
- Apply advanced knowledge to solve complex reporting requests or summarize concepts for senior leadership.
- Accountably develop data visualization solutions and targeted insights.
- Partner with Category Managers to optimize analytics supporting category pipelines, financial models, and savings opportunities.
Operational Excellence & Workflow Innovation
- Own the entirety of key workflows, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and presentability.
- Regularly review and classify reporting request trends to identify automation, self-service, and visualization opportunities.
Data Stewardship & Systems Expertise
- Serve as subject matter expert on querying Ariba procurement data.
- Maintain high data fluency and deep understanding of Ariba structures, hierarchies, and metrics.
- Collaborate on designing and engineering simple, efficient, and maintainable analytics-ready datasets and processes.
- Advocate for analytics tools and self-service through documentation, coaching, and demonstrations.
- Convey systems knowledge and analytical expertise to a small team of analysts.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, FP&A, Strategy, Analytics, or Finance Operations.
- Advanced experience in Ariba Workbench with working knowledge of Ariba back end.
- 5+ years of MS Office experience.
- 1+ years of Tableau or relevant experience.
- Functionally comfortable working with python and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic fluency in applying AI solutions or working within AI-ready frameworks.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in cost modeling, forecasting, and savings tracking.
- Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in analytics and procurement operations.
- Experience with technology category management and/or analysis; IT/cloud experience a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field or equivalent relevant experience is required; MBA preferred.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
