The Critical Minerals Forum (CMF), the leading coalition of miners, processors, investors, and end-users committed to building resilient and diversified supply chains, is seeking a highly experienced and strategically-minded professional to join our team as an Executive Vice President for Minerals Supply Chain Management in Washington, D.C.


This role is pivotal for expanding the CMF's impact, leveraging our Al-driven analytical capabilities to identify and execute on mineral project development opportunities in collaboration with private sector and government stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to apply your deep industry expertise to an issue vital for national security and economic competitiveness.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The Executive Vice President will strengthen connections among market participants across the entire minerals value chain to develop investment opportunities and offtake agreements. You will be expected to:


Drive CMF Strategic Growth


  • Develop and execute strategies for expanding minerals supply chain capacity among miners, processors, investors, and end-user manufacturers. Build relationships between critical mineral suppliers with multinational manufacturers end-users, facilitating long-term offtake agreements, investments, and strategic partnerships.


  • Facilitate sourcing capacity development initiatives among miners, processors, and end-user manufacturers, and with diversified investors representing various parts of the capital stack. Work with public sector institutions on blended finance to support direct investment in commercially-viable projects.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS


The ideal candidate will have deep minerals industry experience and familiarity with U.S. government agencies, with a proven ability to lead and deliver high-impact results.


  • Industry Experience: A minimum of ten years of relevant experience in the critical minerals, metals, or mining sector, with a significant focus on minerals markets and project financing. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of supply/demand dynamics, production costs, and the challenges of highly concentrated supply chains.


  • Business Development & Management: Evidence of successful project scoping, proposal development, and the ability to translate complex client problems into actionable strategies.


  • Commercial procurement: Proven ability to work with advanced manufacturers and end-users in the the aerospace, defense, and automotive sectors to understand their mineral and metals needs (quantity, grade, and quality) and successfully guide the negotiation of long-term offtake agreements.


  • Market and Financial Modeling: Experience utilizing or understanding data-driven modeling and advanced market analysis for critical minerals and metals. Experience advising on capital raising initiatives and facilitating commercial transactions.


  • Relationships: An existing professional network within the critical minerals ecosystem, including miners, processors, and end-user manufacturers in the defense, aerospace, electronics, automotive sectors.


  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex market dynamics to diverse stakeholders, including investors, procurement experts, and C-suite executives.


  • Location: U.S. citizenship is required, and the role is in-person at least three days a week in Washington, D.C. (without additional compensation for travel).
