Supply Chain Specialist

• *Position Summary**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to manage order processing, logistics coordination, and supply chain operations. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of customer orders, coordinate with global suppliers, and ensure timely and accurate shipment execution.

• *Key Responsibilities
• Manage sales orders in company ERP system (Sage 100), including order entry, validation, and confirmation
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers for all order-related and post-sale activities
• Issue purchase orders and coordinate with domestic and international suppliers
• Plan and manage air and ocean shipments with freight forwarders
• Track shipments and ensure timely customs clearance and delivery
• Prepare and review shipping documents (CI, PL, COO, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with U.S. import/export requirements
• Support landed cost tracking and coordinate with accounting on cost allocation
• Follow SOPs strictly and support process improvements
• *Qualifications
• *Must-Have
• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations
• Experience with order processing and shipment coordination
• Working knowledge of import/export documentation
• Experience working with freight forwarders and vendors
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to follow structured processes without skipping steps
• *Good-to-Have
• Experience with international shipments (air/ocean)
• ERP experience (Sage 100 or similar)
• Knowledge of U.S. import regulations
• Experience in food, chemical, or ingredient supply chains

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and takes full ownership of their work. This role requires strong process discipline and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
