Christian Dior Couture is seeking a Director of Procurement to design, build and lead this function from the ground up.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role. The Director of Procurement will bring structure, discipline, and commercial excellence to all third-party spend across retail operations, logistics, store development, marketing, IT, corporate services, and indirect categories — while fully respecting the standards of a global luxury brand.
The objective is clear: deliver sustainable cost reduction, best-in-class supplier partnerships, compliance, and operational efficiency in a fast-growing, complex retail environment.
This role will report to VP Finance leadership and work in close partnership with global Procurement.

This is not a “run the process” job — this is a build, lead, and transform role. The Director of Procurement will have a real seat at the table, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the mandate to materially improve profitability and operational excellence across Dior’s America business.
Additional information
The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $150k – $165k annually, plus bonus eligibility. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience. Job responsibilities
Build the Procurement Function
- Design and implement an America procurement operating model
- Define governance, policies, approval flows, and sourcing standards
- Build category strategies and supplier segmentation
- Create clear spend visibility and controls across all business units
- Lead strategic sourcing and competitive bidding across all major spend categories
- Deliver measurable savings and cost avoidance year after year
- Renegotiate key supplier contracts (logistics, store services, fixtures, IT, marketing, facilities, etc.)
- Eliminate maverick spend and create disciplined buying practices
- Lead all major commercial negotiations in America
- Establish long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers
- Ensure contracts reflect best market terms, performance KPIs, service levels, and risk protections
- Manage vendor performance, pricing, and compliance
- Partner with Retail, Store Development, Supply Chain, Marketing, IT and Finance to support:
- Visual merchandising and fixtures
- Logistics and transportation
- Events, media, and marketing services
- Ensure procurement enables speed, quality and luxury standards — not bureaucracy
- Create full spend transparency across 60+ stores and corporate functions
- Implement procurement tools, catalogs, and reporting dashboards
- Track savings, contract compliance, supplier performance and risk
Experience
- 10–15+ years in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain
- Experience in retail, luxury, fashion, consumer goods, hospitality, or multi-site operations strongly preferred
- Proven track record of building or transforming a procurement function
- Strong background in indirect spend (logistics, marketing, facilities, IT, store operations, services)
- Elite negotiator — commercially tough but partnership-oriented
- Highly analytical with strong financial acumen
- Able to operate in complex, matrixed, international organizations
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and challenging the status quo
- Strong contract, sourcing, and vendor management expertise
- Builder mentality — enjoys creating structure where none exists
- Pragmatic and business-oriented (not overly bureaucratic)
- Understands the balance between cost discipline and luxury brand excellence
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
