Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Supply Base Management Specialist to join our Work Movement Structures team in Renton, WA or Everett, WA.

This is a multifaceted role that requires solid understanding of how Boeing purchases, manages consumes and distributes Materials and/or Standards across the enterprise as well as the life cycle of the material.
The ideal candidate will communicate at all levels and make presentations to various audiences.
This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.
Our teams are currently hiring Lead (Level 5) Supply Base Management Specialist.
Position Responsibilities
- Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationships.
- Provides business and strategic guidance for critical suppliers, commodities and programs.
- Leads the resolution of complex or strategic supply chain issues.
- Consults with management and customers to lead the development of future supply base requirements.
- Integrates supplier strategies with program needs and supply base capabilities.
- Drives the company's cross-functional supply base strategy process.
- Evaluates potential proposals and coordinates sourcing proposals.
- Ensure external partners are meeting business expectations.
- Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 12+ years of experience in Supplier Management or Supply Chain Management
- 5+ years of experience in communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership
- 5+ yearsof experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- 5+ years of experience with ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP
- 3+ years of experience managing supplier performance
- 3+ years of experience with improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, systematic problem solving)
- 3+ years of experience with strategy development and execution
