Lead Supply Chain & Logistics Operations

The Lead Supply Chain & Logistics will own and drive Blackwaves end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations in the United States. This is a hands-on, on-site Ownership role requiring daily presence to manage physical flows, partners, and teams across procurement, warehousing, and distribution. The role combines strategic planning with operational execution and close collaboration with local and international stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage on-site supply chain and logistics operations, including procurement, inbound logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and outbound distributionDesign and execute scalable supply chain strategies aligned with cost, service, and growth objectivesManage relationships with on-site suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics (3PL) partnersEnsure reliable, on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels through active, on-site operational oversightTrack, analyze, and improve KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, logistics costs, and service levelsIdentify operational risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure supply chain continuityCollaborate closely with engineering, operations, finance, and commercial teams to support production and customer commitmentsEnsure compliance with US trade regulations, customs requirements, safety standards, and internal policiesLead, coach, and grow on-site supply chain and logistics team membersQualificationsRequired: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related fieldAt least two years of experience in supply chain and logistics roles with increasing responsibilityProven experience managing on-site logistics and physical operations in the USStrong understanding of US transportation, warehousing, and trade compliance requirementsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility and willingness to work on-site on a daily basisPreferred: Masters degree (MBA or equivalent)Experience in technology, manufacturing, hardware, or complex operational environmentsExperience with ERP and supply chain management systemsPrior people leadership or team-building experienceAbout Blackwave Texas Inc.Blackwave stands for passion and innovation in aerospace.
