Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team in Nashua, NH. This role is crucial for optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of materials and services essential to our defense programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of supply chain principles, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and enhance delivery performance.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify potential risks or bottlenecks in the supply chain.
- Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain metrics and initiatives for management.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at supply chain innovation and digital transformation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to supply chain activities.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, procurement, or logistics.
- Proficiency in supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or an MBA.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of defense industry supply chain practices and regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
- Experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
