Client Overview
Our client is a global company recognized for developing, manufacturing, and distributing some of the world’s most iconic luxury fragrance brands. They are looking to add a Logistics Associate (Part-Time) to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$23/hr - $27/hr (Based on relevant experience)
Position Overview
The Logistics Associate (Part-Time) will support a newly launched, high-priority project focused on the collection, organization, and review of transportation and customs-related data. This is a hands-on, execution-focused position that emphasizes precision, organization, and consistency. The Logistics Associate (Part-Time) will play a key role in ensuring information is accurately consolidated and maintained to support ongoing operational initiatives. The position will require 24 - 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday and will work closely with internal teams to support time-sensitive project deliverables.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Associate (Part-Time):
- Collect, review, and organize customs and shipping documentation, including Packing lists, Commercial and proforma invoices, Entry summaries, House bills of lading, airway bills, and bills of lading.
- Compile and provide required data to support U.S. duty drawback processes.
- Generate proforma invoices based on shipping documentation.
- Upload, categorize, and maintain documents within designated internal portals.
- Create and maintain basic reporting and tracking datasets to support the project.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and organized in a centralized location.
Required Experience/Skills for the Logistics Associate (Part-Time):
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Basic familiarity with transportation, logistics, or supply chain terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Logistics Associate (Part-Time):
- Exposure to manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Familiarity with customs documentation and international shipping processes.
- Awareness of U.S. duty drawback concepts or trade compliance principles.
- Prior experience supporting logistics, operations, or supply chain projects in a corporate setting.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required.
