The Supply Chain Operations Lead – Warehouse & Procurement is responsible for executing and supporting day-to-day procurement activities while providing operational oversight and guidance for warehouse and inventory functions. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, with primary responsibility for purchasing, vendor coordination, pricing negotiation, and material availability to support business operations.
The Supply Chain Operations Lead will work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and warehouse personnel to ensure procurement processes are effective, inventory is accurately maintained, and materials are available to meet operational needs. This position is expected to deliver measurable procurement and cost-saving results, with opportunity for expanded responsibility over time based on performance and business growth.

Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Procurement & Purchasing Operations
- Execute day-to-day procurement activities, including sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, and managing supplier relationships
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to support cost control and operational efficiency
- Identify preferred suppliers and support purchasing strategies aligned with operational needs
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support warehouse and operational requirements
- Track purchasing activity, supplier performance, and pricing trends
- Collaborate with finance and leadership to support procurement planning and spend visibility
- Provide guidance and operational direction to warehouse personnel to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and inventory tracking
- Support execution of inventory control processes and ensure data accuracy
- Partner with internal teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory
- Assist with inventory counts, audits, and process improvements as needed
- Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership to align procurement and inventory activities with business priorities
- Support implementation and use of inventory systems, tools, and reporting processes
- Assist in resolving material shortages, vendor issues, or inventory discrepancies
- Maintain accurate purchasing, vendor, and inventory documentation
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, vendor consolidation, and process improvements
- Support performance metrics related to procurement efficiency and material availability
- Deliver measurable results through improved purchasing practices and operational execution
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings and conference calls
- Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner
- Perform duties with minimal supervision

- Knowledge and experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control practices
- Experience negotiating with vendors and managing supplier relationships
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with ERP, purchasing, or inventory systems preferred
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain operations, or inventory management
- Hands-on experience issuing purchase orders and negotiating pricing with vendors
- Experience supporting warehouse or inventory operations (direct management not required)
- Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Ball Ground, GA
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
