About the Company

We are working with a venture-backed technology company operating at the intersection of AI infrastructure, commodities, and financial markets.

The company is building financial infrastructure to make GPU compute more liquid and tradable, helping businesses better access, price, and manage compute capacity.

They are now looking for a Head of Procurement to build and lead their GPU sourcing function.

About the Role

This is a high-ownership role focused on sourcing and purchasing GPUs. You will own procurement end-to-end, building relationships with data centers, cloud providers, GPU suppliers, neoclouds, and their sales teams to identify and secure available capacity.

This is not a traditional procurement role. The ideal candidate already has a strong network across the GPU and data-center ecosystem and knows where capacity becomes available and how to secure it quickly.

What You'll Do

• Own GPU procurement strategy and execution from sourcing through purchase.
• Build relationships with GPU suppliers, cloud providers, data centers, and neoclouds.
• Identify and secure emerging GPU capacity.
• Negotiate GPU capacity, pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
• Develop a deep understanding of GPU availability, pricing, and supply dynamics.
• Build the processes and relationships required to scale the procurement function.

What We're Looking For

• Experience sourcing GPUs or compute capacity for an AI company, AI lab, cloud provider, or neocloud.
• Existing relationships with data centers, cloud providers, GPU suppliers, and/or their sales teams.
• Strong understanding of the GPU and compute supply chain.
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements and securing scarce infrastructure.
• A highly commercial, proactive mindset with the ability to move quickly and operate autonomously.
• Industry relationships and sourcing experience matter more than a specific degree or qualification.
• Candidates from procurement or strategic finance teams at GPU cloud providers and neoclouds are particularly relevant.
